NEW TIMES, NEW PROJECTS!
Instead of fragmenting this into several short e-mails, we decided to gather all our news and surprise you all at once. This autumn has been all about a hardcore effort to make one of the best fairs ever.
Our ambitions are great as always and we start this year with a piece of good news for you all!
THE MORE FEMININE SIDE OF CPH VISION
In February 2010, CPH Vision will celebrate women as the fair
reveals its more feminine side. The fair continues to grow and
increase its focus on womenswear with a good mix of established
contemporary brands and new, up-and-coming designers. A completely
new segment of brands will also be introduced at CPH Vision. Big,
established international designer names will be exhibiting in
Denmark for the first time. Looking to establish new contacts in
Scandinavia and aiming at new interesting targets, these brands
represent new beginnings and new constellations at CPH
Vision.

TERMINAL-2 GOES X-LARGE
Terminal-2 will be expanding with 1000 m2 to launch its new
high-end workwear/heritage segment in the old Kedelsmedjen -
The Boiler Shop - and play host to an interesting new brand
selection. The inspiration comes from the increasing influence of
the heritage brands - in terms of craftsmanship, tradition and
history. Many brands are also taking their inspiration from the
'oldies' through interesting collaborations such as Jil Sanders'
most recent partnership with Uniqlo.

A DIFFERENT SHOW SETUP
The show setup is being restructured and three shows will be
presented in February 2010. Terminal-2 get its own press show to be
held at the 'terminal' on Thursday 11 February. As in previous
years, the CPH Vision Press Show will be held on the Wednesday
prior to the opening of the fair, this time on 10 February at 6
pm.
The daily shows - previously held from Thursday-Sunday
- will be replaced by an amazing look-book installation showcasing
the fair's looks at the entrances to both CPH Vision and
Terminal-2.

DESIGNERS' NEST SHOW AND AWARDS
The Designers' Nest shows, previously held both on Friday and
Saturday, will merge into one bigger show and both the the awards
ceremony & show will be held on Saturday 13 February
only.
As always, we are working to persuade big international names to
join the committee of judges. Last time we were delighted to have
one of the biggest names in fashion, Senior Fashion Writer at The
Sunday Times and founder of Fashion Fringe at Covent Garden, Colin
McDowell on board. Colin McDowell was especially invited for the
occasion by Copenhagen Fashion Fairs and will be joining the
judging panel again this February.

COPENHAGEN FASHION FAIRS - Where Fashion Means
Business
"Copenhagen Fashion Fairs - where fashion means business" - and we
definitely do! The hot, new campaign for CPH Vision and Terminal-2
is running worldwide in the most significant international trade
publications. To attract more fashion professionals to Copenhagen,
Copenhagen Fashion Fairs advertises in 22 international trade
magazines including Textilwirtschaft, WWD, WWB, Textilia, Habit,
FashionUnited, Sportswear International, Vogue and Collezioni and
as always we are teaming up with Danish and international media
partners.
This and much more to come! Exciting new partnerships, more
events and activities and international guest appearances - all
this at Copenhagen Fashion Fairs!
